Transport

The Mountain Heritage Hotel is located in the Blue Mountains (Katoomba), 100km west of Sydney. The two best options for reaching the conference are either Car or Train.

Travel by Car

Mountain Heritage is approximately 1 hr 45 min drive from the centre of Sydney. There is plenty of onsite parking at the hotel. If you are travelling by car, we encourage you to organise car pools with other delegates where possible. If you have spare seats in your car or are looking for a seat, then please contact the organizers (see Home tab) and we will try to organise this for you.

Travel by Train

Mountain Heritage is about 600 m from Katoomba Train Station. There are a number of direct and indirect trains from Sydney Central Station to Katoomba Station. Direct trains take approximately 2hrs. The conference will begin with lunch at 1pm on Wednesday July 22. The best direct train option, allowing time for check-in, is:

Depart Sydney Central Station: 9:18am
Arrive Katoomba Station: 11:17am

For the return trip, trains depart Katoomba station at 2.14pm, 3.14pm, and 3.44pm arriving at Sydney Central station exactly 2hrs later.

One-way tickets are $8.80 for adults and $4.40 for concessions.
